Yes, most of our batteries can be safely stored for extended periods if kept in the right conditions. It’s important to store them in a cool, dry location and to check them periodically. For lead acid batteries (like those used in vehicles and golf carts), it’s best to charge them to about 50% before long-term storage and a charger maintainer can help keep them in optimal condition.

If your battery is overheating or leaking, immediately stop using it and remove it from the device (if possible). For auto, marine, or power sports batteries, ensure the area is well-ventilated. Never touch leaking batteries directly, wear gloves if necessary and dispose of them properly according to local guidelines.
